There are well over a 100 different translations and versions of the Bible today. There
are also about 5,000 manuscripts of the books of the Bible and Biblical text in existance. The King James Version of
the Bible is the "only" version that bases its text on 95% of all the manuscripts in existance. Every other version of the
Bible is based on only 5% of all documents called the "Critical Text". The Critical Text is mainly based on two Alexandrian
texts. The first is called the "Vaticanus B text, which was locked up for years in the Vatican library. The second is
called the "Sinaticus Aleph" which, believe it or not, was found in a trash can at St. Catherine's Monastery at the foot of
Mt. Sinai. There is so much to go into about these documents, but the main thing to know about these two texts is they contradict
"each other" literally thousands of times! The Sinaticus was in the trash can because St. Catherine's Monastery was going
to burn it because they were unsure of its accuracy. The Vaticanus text was only aloud to be copied at the Vatican because
they would not let it leave the Vatican, so we are trusting not only the documents origin, but the accuracy of the translation.
The two documents I just described is the basis of all Bible translations except the King James
Version. The "Textus Receptus" is one of the main text used for the translation of the King James Version. Westcott
& Hort's Scrivener's Greek New Testament has 5,604 changes made to the Textus Receptus. Of those 1,952 are omissions (35%
of text), 467 are additions (8% of text), 3,185 are changes (57% of text). There were also 4,366 more words involved in alterations
combining for a total of 9,970 words involved in changes, additions, and omissions. All of these changes is equal to 7% of
the Textus Receptus text as a whole. This would be the same as either omitting almost 46 pages or all of I & II Peter
from the New Testament alone. Some translations have omitted the word Jesus 70 times, and Christ 29 times. They have
also completely omitted things like Idolitry, the virgin birth and the diety of Christ which clearly change doctrine.
The book of Ecclesiastes 8:4 says; "Where the word of a king is, there is power. The King James is the only Bible issued
by a king. Another interesting fact is that the Hebrew word for the Jewish name "James" is "Jacob". Psalms 147:19 says; "He
sheweth his word unto "Jacob" , his statutes and his judgements unto Israel.
Another contriversial translation is the New American Standard Version (NASV). Dr. Frank Logsdon
is on the committee of the NASV, here is what he says:
"I must under God denounce every attachment to the New American Standard Version. I'm afraid I'm
in trouble with the Lord...We laid the groundwork; I wrote the format; I helped interview some of the translators; I sat with
the translator; I wrote the preface. When you see the preface to the New American Standard, those are my words...it's wrong,
it's terribly wrong; it's frightfully wrong...I'm in trouble;...I can no longer ignore these criticisms I am hearing and I
can't refute them. The deletions are absolutely frightening...there are so many. People can be easily deceived...Are we so
naive that we do not suspect Satanic deception in all of this.

The very person that helped put the NASV together has realized the wrong that they have done. Several
missions that hand out Bibles to those who doesn't have a Bible in other countries hand out the NASV. Those people reading
the NASV are missing so much, and Jesus is more and more looking less important. Again, there are so many omissions and changes
I don't have the room to list them all. I'll show you a few of the changes that are just shocking.
The word "Lucifer" is used only one time in the Bible.
(KJV) Isaiah 14:12 says: "How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning!
How art thou cut down to the ground, which did weaken the nations!"
(NIV) Isaiah 14:12 says: "How you have fallen from heaven, O morning star, son of the
dawn! You have been cast down to the earth, you who once laid low the nations!
The NIV changes the word "Lucifer" to "Morning Star". Actually Jesus referred to himself as a "Morning
Star".
Revelation 22:16 says: "I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the
churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and "Morning Star"."
So by changing the word "Lucifer" to "Morning Star" actually turns Jesus into Lucifer.
KJV: John 6:47 says; "Verily verily I say unto you, He that believeth "on me" hath everlasting life.
NASV: John 6:47 says; "Verily verily I say unto you, He that believeth hath everlasting life.
By omitting "on me" takes away from our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, or that to have everlasting
life there is no reason to put any belief on Jesus. Remember John 14:6 which says;"Jesus sayeth unto him, I am the
way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me". The NASV omits the entire verse of Acts 8:37 which
says; "And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus
Christ is the Son of God (KJV). Another shocking omission is about the ascention of Jesus.
KJV: Luke 24:51 says; "And it came to pass, while he blessed them, he was parted from them, and
carried up into heaven.
NASV: Luke 24:51 says; "And it came to pass, while he blessed them, he was departed from them.
The omission of "and carried up into heaven" suggests that Jesus did not ascend into heaven, he
just departs from them. In Mark chapter 16 the NASV omits the last 12 verses of the chapter which again leaves out the ascention
of Jesus and the words of Jesus telling us "go ye into the world and preach the gospel".
The NIV version of the Holy Bible is a very popular version. Although, there are hundreds, even
thousands of changes, omissions and re-wording of words and verses through out the text. I won't lie, I have a NIV myself
and I use it often. But, I use it only as a study Bible. If you have a problem understanding something it is a good reference
to compare back to the King James Version. The Bible tells us that every word, all the way down to a "tittle" is not to be
tampered with until the end is fulfilled (Matt. 5:18), see also Deut. 4:2 & Prov. 30:5-6. Also remember every word in
the Bible is given to the author by the "inspiration of God" (II Timothy 3:16). So as we can see, for a reason, every single
word has its place and importance in the Bible permanately!
The NIV omitts the word:

There are many many more! Actually the NIV omitts a total of 5,219 words! These
are very important words that can change the meaning of a verse. I know that some of their changes is made to make the
verse in "laments" terms so it is easier to understand, but people need to also know what the original text says because
only there does the "real truth" exist! On the flip side of things the Living Bible actually "adds" over 17,000
words! That is why it is always best to go by the King James Version.
Through all of this we need to heed the words of Jesus Christ. Matthew 5:18 which says; "For verily
I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled"
(KJV).
